Pogue Automotive Group is seeking motivated, ASE Certified Service Technicians with GM Certification to join our team. Compensation & Benefits

1. Pay Range: $25–$60 per hour based on experience.
2. Schedule: Expected 40 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership procedures.
2. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, brakes, and air conditioning.
3. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
4. Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of necessary services and repair time estimates.
5. Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

1. Certification: ASE Certification is required. GM Certification is preferred.
2. Experience: 5+ years of Service Technician experience is preferred.
3. Skills: A-level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
4. Technical Knowledge: Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and learn new repair procedures.
5. Mindset: A positive, friendly attitude with a team-oriented and customer-service mentality.
6. Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
